Rash 05:05
Take my mind away Shape it, make it sane It will be ok Is what I thought I heard you say Take me in your hand I can’t see the land Help me understand ‘cause I won’t give in to your demands But when the time comes that you make a decision, It’s not the one you see in your inner vision, but rather Something rash, and something wrong, Not what will help you but what will bring you undone Temptation creeping in The feeling’s dissolving What we were is now a blur and everything is Slurred sounds so absurd can’t hear your words But when the time comes that you make a decision, It’s not the one you see in your inner vision, but rather Something rash, and something wrong, Not what will help you but what will bring you undone But when the time comes that you make a decision, It’s not the one that you see in your inner vision, but rather Something rash, and something wrong, Not what will help you but what will bring you undone

The Movie 04:59
Float into focus in your living room You’re sitting there staring with a look of gloom Outside rain pours down no flowers in bloom Dark greyness prevents sun from shining through I can’t decide where I’m going We try to prepare our minds for the movie But I know this night will take its toll And we will wake up so slow You breathe it in, I breathe it in, down to the depths of our lungs Now we sink into the feeling and roll another one You started freaking out I thought we were having fun But by the early hours we know that we’re done (yeah) I can’t decide where I’m sleeping We try to see through bloodshot eyes in the moonlight Now I know this night has taken its toll And we will wake up so slow I know this is wrong But I feel like I belong This feeling’s growing strong Where did you come from I know this is wrong But I feel like I belong This feeling’s growing strong Where did you come from

7 05:20
My oh my, what have I got into Feel sublime but don’t know what to do Take some time to look around the room For all of them there’s only one of you She is picturing what she wants in me But I cannot be sure if I have the means My head is feeling the volatility Keep a lid on it take your time and breathe You’ll see just where this leads Push me to breaking point I have to go To realise where my place is in it all To dream and feel like I can take this on I don’t want to be there when this all goes wrong But my oh my what have I got into You know all about me but I do not know you Stressing us out big time what can we do At least I can say that I want to find out too She is picturing what she wants in me But I cannot be sure if I have the means My head is feeling the volatility Keep a lid on it take your time and breathe You’ll see just where this leads

Lazy Boy 04:38
You called me into your corner office The view of the skyline was quite ludicrous Red leather and mahogany was all that I could see Expensive taste for an eccentric woman Oh you sat down at your throne and beckoned For me to take a seat in a Lazy Boy You gazed through your designer glasses at me (oh-oh) You had me frozen stiff and I could barely breathe And all that I could do Was look straight back at you And feel myself falling again, Falling again to the same end Eyes like a green abyss, I don’t feel amiss When I’m seeing them looking at this I’m high to the point of bliss from your expressionistic face It tells me all I need to know I won’t Be down low in the dumps again We both know the same thing, it’s not a game any more And all you had me do, Was go back and try undo The steps that led to falling again, Falling again to the same end (oh) We’re not on the same page any more It’s rougher than I ever saw and I can’t go along with you now Free your mind of all suspicion Focus on your mission Dream of flipping your world around

Yoda 05:20
You’re moving out of view There’s no more that we can do If it’s all the same to you I’ll move on to something new It’s more like a whisper than a suggestion When I brought it up she didn’t even mention it Looking out my window I can feel the tension building Into something more than what is gonna aid my healing Oh but I get the feeling something’s up Oh why does this always happen when I’m on the cusp Of something good Warmth is coming over inching down my spine Everyone’s feeling heavy but I’m feeling fine Open up my window I wanna see the stars in the sky Oh but I get the feeling something’s good Oh why can’t this always happen when I know it should

Utopia 05:29

about

The debut EP from Narrm/Melbourne psych-pop outfit Go Dog Go.

After growing up playing music together in the Goulburn Valley in rural Victoria, the now Melbourne based four piece have spent their lives crafting a captivating sound of their own. Listening to Go Dog Go, you might find yourself floating in a sea of dreampop euphoria, only to then wake up to a synth and bass driven dance groove. Bonding over propulsive rhythms and psychedelic tangents, their live show is not to be missed.

The band have released three singles so far in 2021 from their debut EP, and count themselves extremely lucky to have played two sold out headline shows amidst turbulent restrictions on live music venues across the country. They also released their first music video for the single 'Lazy Boy', which aired on the ABC's iconic music video show 'rage', ticking off a bucket list item for the band early on.

Although it has been a difficult time for artists around the world, the band have much to look forward to with the return of live music, including a slot at Loch Hart Music Festival in January 2022.

Go Dog Go's debut EP was produced by Edvard Hakansson (Mimi Gilbert, Feign Jima) in his home studio in 2019. These songs came about from jamming in the front room of their sharehouse, and then playing them live at some of Melbourne’s favourite venues such as The Evelyn, The Gaso and The Grace Darling to name a few. It is a timestamp on the pre-pandemic era of the band, and they are excited to be recording new music in January.
