Go Dog Go make their long awaited debut with a cover of Joy Division’s post-punk anthem 'Isolation'

Capturing the driving energy of the original, their upbeat rendition reimagines the song with new clarity, highlighting the band’s love for synths and attention to textural detail. The velvet voice of frontman Charlie Bowmaker juxtaposes that of Ian Curtis’ original performance in an enthralling manner that allows the listener the opportunity to shine new light on the contextually relevant lyricism.

Each instrumental element was recorded by the band members individually from the comfort of their sharehouse bedrooms - isolation, indeed! The track was then mixed together by Edvard Hakansson who worked with the band on their forthcoming debut EP which will be released later in the year.
